How much will it cost?
Each session on Zoom is £9 booked in monthly blocks. Sessions in the studio are £10 booked in monthly blocks. In person classes are limited to a maximum of 3 to conform to government guidelines for social distancing .
Classes must be pre-booked to secure your place. Missed classes can be made up subject to availability. In certain circumstances where clients cannot make a monthly a minimum of 3 classes can be booked at a cost of £12 per class.
Private Tuition
If you are recovering from injury, suffering persistent pain or just prefer working on a 1:1 basis then sign up for a 1 hour lesson (£40). With 1:1 tuition clients often find they progress quicker and can choose a time to suit themselves.
Getting Started
Classes are open to everyone but are not run on a drop in basis. If you are new to Pilates or have any particular movement or health issues it is essential to either book a private introductory lesson first. This gives Jackie the chance to assess your movement, strength and teach you the basic principles of Pilates. Before your first session, you will be asked to complete an enrolment form, where you can give details of any injuries or conditions so that Jackie can ensure that you exercise safely. Good movement skills are taught step-by-step, breaking the exercises down so that clients can enjoy the benefits of Pilates whilst working safely and effectively towards advanced exercises.
Class Cancellation Policy
Please contact Jackie if you are unable to make a class at short notice. Missed classes can only be made up subject to availability and are not refundable. Please try to make up your missed class as soon as possible to ensure continuity of practice however; under certain circumstances Jackie may carry it forward to the next block. Unadvised missed classes cannot be made up and missed make up classes cannot be made up or carried forward.
Where are classes held?
Currently Jackie holds classes in her home, just 5 minutes from Bearsted Green, so class sizes are limited. The classes are in a bright, modern and private environment and in the warmer months classes can held outside in a beautiful, secluded garden.

Group classes have a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Exercises are performed in various positions: standing, sitting, on hands and knees, lying on your side and lying on your back. Various small pieces of equipment are used, including stretch bands and balls, all Pilates equipment is provided including mats, though clients may bring their own.
Does it matter how fit I am?
Not at all, Body Control Pilates classes are suitable for all – whatever your age, physical condition or personal goals. Pilates is suitable for athletes recovering from injuries, right through to those less active who want to make a change.
How soon can I expect to see results?
Obviously, it depends on you and what you’re expecting to achieve, but most people see results very quickly, within just a few short weeks.
“In ten sessions you’ll feel the difference, in twenty you’ll see the difference, and in thirty you’ll have a new body.” Joseph Pilates
